The City of North Pole is seeking sealed bids for the removal of snow from approximately 18 miles of city streets plus city facilities. The snow removal contract will run from October 2016 to September 2014 and will be eligible for renewal for up to two additional years. Minimum equipment requirements are a motor grader and a front-end loader. Bids should be based upon a per snow event to plow city streets and facilities. Contractor will be on an “on call” basis with 8 hours notice.

Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the North Pole City Hall, 125 Snowman Lane. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the North Pole City Council Chambers at immediately after the bid opening. A bid packet, containing the bid specifications and forms is available by emailing bill.butler@northpolealaska.org.
