Administrative Hearing Officer
Administrative Hearing Officer Application Information

The City of North Pole is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Hearing Officer(s).

Qualifications:  Administrative Hearing Officers shall be an attorney duly licensed to practice law in the state of Alaska and be familiar with North Pole Municipal Code Chapter 10.02, Motor Vehicle Impoundment and State Forfeiture. They shall hold no other appointed or elected office or position for the City.

Administrative Hearing Officers are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.  Prior to participating in an appeal case, the Administrative Hearing Officer shall state in writing that they have no conflict of interest pertaining to the case.

Administrative Hearing Officers must comply with North Pole Municipal Code Chapter 2.27.050 in regard to conflict of interest and NPMC 2.27.060 ex parte contact.
